The Women's National Para Hockey program began in Ontario when a handful of women's para hockey players thought it would be fun to play on a team made up of only women.
Over a decade later, women from all over the country travel to compete for a spot on the national team. It's become about more than just being an all women team, it's now a chance to represent Canada playing the sport we love.
